Keysha Edwards Taylor presents her Piano Works Concert as a tribute concert for the memory of her mother, Bahamian Cultural Icon late Kayla Lockhart Edwards. Keysha Edwards Taylor presents this concert as a moment of refreshing and soothing of the soul. The evening will be prompted with an art exhibition featuring Bahamian artists, Matthew Wildgoose, Jodi Minnis and Allan Pacino Wallace & musician, Marquinn Edwards. Featured vocalists Naomi Taylor and Osano Neely will give their soulful contributions. For the enjoyment of all, Keysha will then perform her piano creations from her newly released album, Piano Works. Also featured will be musicians Earl Forbes on bass and Neil Symonette on drums, spoken word and African drumming by Princess Pratt. Part of the proceeds from this memorable event will be donated to The Ranfurly Home for Needy Children and to the Bahamian relief due to the effects of Hurricane Dorian. Keysha's albums, Piano Works, Deep Songs From Within, and her accompanying book, Deep Book will be available for purchase at the event. (Cash & Credit Card accepted). All are welcomed to attend. Keysha loves making music that inspires. Whether she's playing the piano or singing the experience creates a sense of power and belonging for her. Keysha believes that mastering music and the skill of it will take a lifetime because she's always learning and growing. To know the music, to read it, and deliver it with excellence is one thing. It's another level of existence to become the music. That is where Keysha's goal comes into action as she aims to maintain that level of stellar musicianship and rises to any level set before her. Creating her first ballad at age 14 for a relative's wedding is where Keysha's love for composing began to blossom. With a Bachelor's Degree in Music, Piano Performance, she has used the skills and education to enhance her talent. She has composed over 30 songs in a myriad of styles. Her music is heavily influenced from her experiences from childhood days growing up in the Bahamas. This composer’s root is Classical Piano and she cleverly melts Reggae, Jazz, Bahamian & and Hispanic Cultures to help fashion Keysha's groove. Fit for a movie theme, the beginning of a televised show, Keysha's instrumental music is simple, yet refined, easy and passionate. The indie artist uses life experiences to fuel her fire to write expressive ballads, praise & worship music and love songs.

As an artist, Keysha sees the world of music as a way to express what's going on deep in her soul. She candidly says,"Sometimes songs come to me like gushing water, other times, it's just a drop, but it's how I affect the world to show love, understanding and power as an artist!" It is the essence of her living. Keysha's faced some hard times in her adolescent years but has turned those unfortunate experiences into passion, beauty and strength for others to behold.
